Mahanoy City Fire Department

Located in the heart of the anthracite coal region of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, the Mahanoy City Fire Dept. consists of 5 individual companies and provides primary Fire, Rescue & EMS services to approximately 7,500 residents of the Borough of Mahanoy City and Mahanoy Township. Included in our coverage area is part of Interstate 81. MCFD also provides a Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) to many surrounding mutual-aid departments.
